this is my new spot to show deviant followers my photography and to see me grow as an artist.
i'm in school at nyip to be a better fashion photographer and currently i'm expanding my portfolio by doing trades in the four corners area.
i have been taking pictures of family, friends, nature, travel my whole life since i can remember and i do not plan on stopping anytime soon!

I took a look at your gallery and really liked it. With regards to you Housewife and Soft Melody series...
You have an excellent eye for structure and form. They are good photographs in themselves, but they also have the basic fundamentals to be decent pro/semipro stock photos. The photos I have seen capture the fundamentals functional form. Nice work.

Thank you so much for the feedback, I really appreciate constructive criticism and opinions about my work, it shows that people are showing an interest in them and it's very valuable to me!
As for professional training the only type I've had is a few months studying at NYIP (I just started the courses) and I am looking forward to growing as a photographer with the more training I get. Other than that, it's been self-taught.

I was enrolled in the photo program at RIT in Rochester NY for two years. I eventually dropped the program and became a liberal arts major at another school. One thing I found interesting in my own experience and that of other students was everyone seemed to learn everything they needed to know in the first year(from a technical and practical standpoint). everything else is refinement and specialization in a supervised environment.
I was an avid amateur photographer in my spare time before that school. I eventually dropped the program because I could see 4 years of formal training would have ruined the hobby for me. I would heave viewed it as a job with the focus on making stuff that would pay bills, thus limiting what I could do professionally. That would have taken all the fun out of it.
